PROBLEMS/ GOALS
Existing space is 2,500 square foot partially finished (shelled-in) lower level suite that includes fireplace. Owners were utilizing as open entertainment area zoned for billiards, ping pong, electronic entertainment. Cased-in vertical support shafts are plainly visible from throughout. Open cavernous expanse, however, stripes the suite of necessary human-scale—the effect being that of an overly large suburban recreation room.
