This baby boomer couple recently settled in a new flat in the Haymarket area. First order on their list was to remodel the master bath. She has a contemporary taste and seeks for a designer to accomplish her goals.
They felt a bit cramped on this master bath. The big corner tub was taking over the majority of the floor space.
The bathroom was located behind the garage and we felt we can borrow a few inches from the garage and contribute to the bathroom space. This action opened up a little option for us to offer them a large walk-in shower, with a new slipper tub taking the space of the old large decked tub.
The vanity space was given an opportunity to expand and given both a sleeker yet spacious look vanities.
The large mirror and hidden medicine cabinets with decorative lighting added more contemporariness to the space.
The smart use of mosaic tile on the back wall of the shower and tub area has put this project on the cover sheet of most design magazines.
Our design staff has offered their suggestions to wrap around this bath with large space tiles. The classic look of black and white tile and complementing mosaic tile creatively makes this bathroom undeniably stunning.
The privacy wall offers closure for the commode from the front entry.
“Classy yet simple” is how she described her new master bath suite.
