These baby boomers have lived in their prominent single-family home in Great Falls for years.
They loved their neighborhood and wanted to live there for a long time, so they decided to roll up their sleeves and upgrade their home.
First on her list were the master suite and the master bath. It was dated with lots of angles, rooflines, and wasted space. It was hard to get into the tub at their age, plus the tub was taking away a lot of floor space.
The bathroom was adjacent to two closets. We recommended taking some space to add to the bathroom to create a better flow.
The shower space was small and dysfunctional. We gutted out the entire bathroom, took space from the adjacent closets to add to the footprint of the bathroom, and enlarged the space to allow for a wet shower and free-standing tub area. A multi-function shower system was added.
The floor was built up for a curbless transition to the wet area. We added heated flooring and used large-scale porcelain and pebble river rock in the space.
Our team placed a much-needed makeup area for her. The His-and-Her vanity areas had contrasting gray cabinetry covered with a gorgeous stone.
We used various lighting elements to brighten up the new master bathroom. Our designers spent numerous days carefully putting together the exact color scheme. She has been contemplating for years what her bathroom should look like.
The amenities for this space are heated flooring, a heated towel warmer, a multi-rain shower, a large walk-in wet space, matching wood mirror frames, and more. They loved their new space so much that before we got packing, they wanted to move on with their kitchen remodeling.
