1970’s Townhome in Reston area had a small and cramped Galley kitchen. The new homeowner did not wanted to be closed into the space and wished an open floor plan.

The design team met up with her and suggested to remove couple of bearing walls and make her kitchen open to her Dining room area .This made gaining lighting coming through back French doors.

The new kitchen was more contemporary that agreed with her flair and had a big island for gathering.
Additional light and new front windows made this kitchen brighter than ever.
