kitchen-411

This kitchen had a dragged old look that the recently retired couple was eager to trade up.
Dark builder grade oak cabinetry, laminated counter top, heavy bulkheads, and much more were all to name few of the old kitchen flaws
The multi angle island with dysfunctional electric cook top made this kitchen difficult to work with and get around it
The husband wished to do much more entertaining and put the kitchen into better use both for gathering and gourmet cooking.
They wanted upper scale appliances, larger fridge and gas cooking
In order to better use of this kitchen, we proposed to get rid of bulkhead which were full of plumbing and drain pipe from upstairs bathroom and some duct work.
We have relocated all plumbing and duct work and create space to be able to stack cabinetry for more storage and some glass front cabinetry with interior light for display prized pottery.
By the way of relocating the cook top from island into main counter and running gas line to it we were able to install a professional gas range top with a custom wood hood over it
The old closet pantry were utilized and covered with matching fronts with built in pantry and a lot of amenities
The long wall of the kitchen now owns into a refrigerator tower, then a microwave, steam unit and warming drawer and then a freezer tower covered with matching custom panels
The double wall ovens are place on the end of run to create a long counter for work space.
We have brought in large milled wide plank hardwood to extenuate the exotic & distressed look
A large island now has taken over the middle of the kitchen offering more storage and bar seating around it
The lighting has been improved by the wall of recess lights, separate zones, pendent lights, under cabinet and inside cabinet lights all for their own purposes.
