The owners of this split foyer home in Mclean area wished to get better use of their backyard which faced the very nice wooded parkland. The old pressure treated wooden deck was some and did not serve as an outdoor entertaining area for them.
Our design staff met with the couple and heard their needs and how dysfunctional their current deck is to them. They both have come up with plans to create a multi-level deck, sun porch and all end up the large Jacuzzi deck area.
The playset for their daughters where plans to occupied the right corner of the backyard.
The upper deck was expanded connecting to new expanded Kitchen addition by the way of sliding French door. This area now is dining table seating, barbeque deck and larger entertainment.
From that deck we have created about for steps across the entire width of upper deck to lead to a lower sun deck with casual gathering or evening seating, to the right of this deck through four more steps we have created the Jacuzzi deck area.
Soft lighting, lower deck lightings have set off this back outdoor living space glamorized.
