1980 split level home in Vienna, VA was occupied with Single working woman and her son. She move in to this house couple years ago and tried to live with existing old galley kitchen and small dining room, but she was not going to put up with that anymore. The call was made to our designer and after several meeting we have proposed to extend kitchen and dining room behind it about 8’ into adjacent tow doors garage. That meant that the garage needed an eight width extension along with new wide driveway to accommodate that. The new kitchen was designed with larger double window with sink moved under it from old peninsula. The relocation of garage entrance allowed us to use one sidewall with double ovens, refrigerator and pantry space. The opposite wall was used for glass front cabinets with hutch look and extra storage. The new Peninsula allows up to three seating. Cabinetry that goes to ceiling and brushed stroke maple painted finish with complimentary exotic granite made this project spectacular. The new lighting pattern, inside and under cabinet lights add lots of flair to this kitchen. Use new hardwood in kitchen, foyer, living and dining room made the whole first floor extend and create an open flow
