Mid age couple living a busy lives, desperately wanted to remodel and upgrade the builder grade bathroom that was inherited from previous owners.
They said and I quote, you approach to space was like a breath of fresh air. Totally out of the frame of what have been proposed in past or what they could have imagine the place can transpire into.
The clients wanted to get away from narrow and long spaces, have a large (two person) steam shower, Large Whirlpool, lot of storage and more.
The challenges where:
Shower was too small; bathroom was so chopped up to separate areas.
Couple of large linen closets was in odd places covering up the duct and plumbing work behind or on their sides.
Bathroom plumbing was under sized for all new equipment.
Major amount of plumbing and electrical was needed for new design
Major amount of duct work had to be moved
Final design was implemented now offers:
Large custom steam shower relocated to left side of the bathroom , where closets and duct work used to be
The steam shower is done with tumbled marble with lot of detail rope and accent tile, multi size tiles, niches, rain shower, body spray, custom frameless heavy glass enclosure, and lot of the amenities
Corner large bubble whirlpool with water fall roman faucet
Extended double vanities in new location where it was hallway before with all walls of bathroom covered with decorative tumbled marble and accents
Heated floor s and multi size tile work and design
Create a separate area and move toilet into it
Add storage space with linen cabinetry
Relocate walk in closet & bathroom entrance to accommodate new lay out
Bring in ¾” copper pipe for better water pressure bring from basement
Use exotic marble counter, designer glass vessel sinks, matching glass faucets
Niches and shelves and customer mirror frames are made in high level of tile setting and accent marbles.
Clients wanted the soft, settled color tones. The use of multi color tumbled marble with varies sizes, designs and accents in soft tones of cream complimented with soft marble counter top while contrasted with darker glass sink and faucets made this project one to remember for long time.
